Oak Alley Plantationwas built in 1837 by Jacques T. Roman, Architect. It is famous for its alley of 28 evenly spaced live oak trees believed to be at least 200 years old.

Destrehan Plantation was established in 1787 and is the oldest documented plantation in the lower Mississippi valley.
The plantation survived Colonial and Civil Wars and is now preserved in all her former glory for you to enjoy.
